First off, let me thank you for taking the time to look over the general rules. Keep in mind I will be editing this post and adding rules depending on the concern of the roleplayer to address any issue that we might run into.
Rule #1: Do not spam the forums unless the thread to do so. Please post moderately.
Rule #2: Please keep in mind that this site has members of all ages, so do NOT post anything mature content. If you are looking for smutt then I'd suggest you go to Wattpad, Fanfiction.net , deviantart. Keep that ISH off of this forum.
Rule #3: If you feel the need to advertise please do so in the right area.
Rule #4: Generally respect that everyone has their opinion so don't harass each other. So no bullying!
Rule #5: Give credits to the original creators if you want to show someone's work.

Roleplay Rules
This rules applies to the main roleplays, outside roleplays may decide to change their rules.
Rule Four: Refrain making your character(s) act like a Mary-Sue or acting thirsty all of the time.
Rule One: No text style roleplaying, meaning no asterisk use for actions, and each reply or starter must contain three sentences at the very least, in order for the roleplayer(s) that you are writing with to have at least something to work with. Be clear on who you are talking to and do not have your character magically teleport to god knows where. Also please be patient with other roleplayers, wait at least thirty minutes before you let your character move to someone else to interact with.
Rule Two: Do not harass the hosts, and this is for clear reasoning. So please do not ask repeatedly when will be the next challenge, or when one will end. Also there is a fine line of suggesting things and being rude.
Rule Four: Refrain making your character(s) act like a Mary-Sue or acting thirsty all of the time.
Definition brought to you by Urban Dictionary:
Mary-Sue: "The Victim is an attention seeker. Someone with usually a cheesy 'cruel' and sad back story. They probably had something awful happen to them, so bad it affected them forever."
Thirsty: "First and foremost this word describes someone who is trying to be "put on, be chosen," or simply garner lots of attention. If you don't know what those things mean, chances are you're using the word "thirsty" incorrectly.
Examples of people who define "thirsty":
A.That chick at the club trying desperately to get into the VIP section.
B.The guy that hits on every last chick in a group of girlfriends.
C.The girl or guy whose top goal is to impress other people (this could be dressing a certain way solely to obtain complements, frequenting certain establishments just to be seen there, etc.)"
Rule five: We highly encourage character to try to stir drama within the roleplay! After all the show is not called Total Sunshine and Rainbow Island, it's called Total Drama for a reason! However avoid transferring the drama between roleplayers! If you and someone has a falling out we expect you to figure out a way to fix it, or you may bring it to our attention. Also do not be personally offended if someone does not wish to have a relationship between characters or even if they choose to be rivals with someone.
Rule six: With that being said within the OOC chat there is a no tolerance for people acting like bigots, which mean we do not want to see any sort of homophobic, racist, sexist remark. The penalties for this vary - I.E. being removed, not being included in future seasons.
Rule seven: Your character should not act like they are 'all knowing', meaning please refrain from writing as if you already know someone else's OC, nor should they all of the sudden know details that been discussed in the OOC chat. So if you had not met someone in the roleplay do not assume or have a 'feeling' about them, it's kinda cheating since you as the roleplayer seen some of the bios. Also don't try to have your character know what happened when they were not there to listen to the other's conversation-unless they were told by someone who was there.
Original Character(s) Rules- Will add more later
Rule One: To refrain from any harsh feeling do not create self-insert oc.
Rule Two: To avoid any confusion I have to ban having you OC(s) being related to anyone who was already on the show. Also the original character cannot have any sort of connection to cannon's characters. Please develop any sort of connection within the roleplays. (Yes you can APPLY to be a cannon characters.)
